2010 Season Summary:

 We had a 12 teams battling for the 2010 UTM Summer League Title. The defending League Champions FLIGHT lost their first game of the season and then won 10 straight to take the #1 seed heading into the 2010 play-offs. The Flight 2010 squad faced the #3 seeded 9-2 Evolution team in the final. The Flight 2010 team trailed by as much as 10 points in the first half but came out strong in the second half to win the game by a final score of 88-69.

Flight 2010's Paul Blake had 26 points in the final, 21 coming in the 2nd half, and was named the Play-off MVP. Sherone Edwards was awarded the League MVP, finishing second in the league in scoring and capturing his 2nd straight Slam Dunk title with 27 regular season dunks.

Flight 2010 then took on the League All-stars in the 2010 All-star game. The all-stars enjoyed a slim 59-54 point lead at the half. The two teams traded leads in the 2nd half until Flight 2010 took a 10 point lead. However, with 3 minutes left the All-stars tied the game, thanks largely to David Tyndale's many open 3's. In the end the Flight 2010 team would not be denied, as they hung on for a 125-120 win. David Tyndale had 6 threes and 27 points to lead the League All-stars and was the All-star team MVP. Paul Blake was the All-star Game MVP leading his team and all scorers, with 48 points in the win. Jay Jatana was the 3 point shoot-out champion narrowly defeating Daveo Rodney and Devon McDonald in the final round.

 The Flight 2010 team then faced the U of T Champions- The Huskies, in the Battle of the U of T Summer League Champions semis. The Flight team had as much as a 14 point lead but let it slip away. The Huskies took their first lead of the game with under 50 seconds remaining, on 3 made foul shots. A last second 3 to tie the game rimmed out and the Flight 2010 team was denied a spot in the Champions Final. The UTSC Champs went on to win the overall title as they easily defeated the Huskies.
